About the Cabinet
Somewhere between a natural-history museum and a locked archive, there is a cabinet of things that were never quite real.
Sticky Little Curios catalogues them: bookmarks, prints, wallpapers and paper curiosities, each one drawn as though it were a genuine specimen — a key that grew roots, a clockwork nautilus, a plague doctor's respirator kept like a relic.
Gold on black, aged parchment, the patient hand of someone who takes impossible things very seriously.
It's all made by one person, by hand, somewhere with a great deal of weather and a great deal of old stone — the kind of place where it's easy to believe the drawer might open on its own. Every specimen is drawn, finished and catalogued the slow way, one at a time.
It's made for people who never followed the herd. Who find the shadows more interesting than the spotlight, who are fascinated by what can't quite be explained, and who like their beauty with a little dust and a little dread — and a sense of humour underneath it all.
If you've read this far and felt a small flicker of yes, these are my people — welcome. The drawer was left open for you.
